In 1981 he began his studies in electrical engineering at the University of Seville. During his time as a professional athlete, he studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of the Canary Islands and finished electrical industrial engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Since 1999 he develops research and technology transfer projects through framework agreements with the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of Alicante (UA).
As an external consultant to the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the UA he has advised Siemens Gamesa, AirBus H.B Fuller and others on projects.
He has developed research and development projects with the Ministry of Industry, Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) and as a consultant in projects financed by the Valencian autonomous government (GVA) and the Government of La Rioja.
After the creation of the Hydrogen Hub at the University of Alicante, he specialized in hydrogen economics and advises investment funds in the planning and development of the use of hydrogen in end customers.
He currently has a technology transfer consultant contract in León (Mexico) with companies and the government of Mexico.
In his stage of entrepreneur he developed multiple patents owner or author.
